I belong to a Yahoo group called Hittygirls (check out Hittygirls.com) and one of the challenges is The 100 Challenge. I was going to make 100 simple summer frocks for my Hittys but that hasn't happened yet however, my sister Dawn is in full swing with her 100 dresses and my Hittys were the lucky receipients of three of those dresses.
Hitty Emily models a Halloween dress made in an oversized print but seems perfect for her.
Hitty Sonja models a recyled fabric dress made from fabric that was originally a blouse that I bought at a thrift store for 50 cents. I bought the blouse to use the fabric for this year's Hitty Vacation in Maine scrapbooks and Dawn used the leftover scraps to make this dress.
Hitty Ada models a beautiful red/orange fall dress. This dress is adorned with a large button which adds a touch of wimsey to the bodice of the dress.

Thank you Dawn.

There is an award waiting for you over on my blog!

Thanks Julie,
It seems like a neat award. As soon as I figure it out and who to honor I'll have to follow the rules and post to my blog. Although I'm creative with my simple sewing, I have to give my sister Dawn credit for the wonderful Fall Dresses for my Hittys.

Couldn't sleep this morning and your blog provided much needed entertainment - so nice to know there are other "Hitty Heads" out there - so nice of you to invite us to your blog from time to time at hittygirls.com. Hope you have a great day!
Valerie and the Oak Park Hitties!
Thanks Valerie,
It's fun to share.
